M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University acted as a co-organizer of the international conference

On December 11, 2025, the non-profit limited company “Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University” served as a co-organizer of the international scientific and practical conference “Formation of the Prestige of the Teaching Profession: Experience and Prospects,” held jointly with the Yaroslav the Wise Novgorod State University (Russian Federation). As part of the conference, the Faculty of Pedagogy hosted a thematic session titled “Current Psychological and Pedagogical Issues in Preschool and Primary Education.”

The purpose of the conference was to discuss urgent issues related to strengthening the prestige of the teaching profession, as well as to exchange international and domestic experience and effective practices aimed at enhancing the attractiveness and status of the teaching profession.

Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Ergalieva G.A., as well as Associate Professors of the “Preschool and Primary Education Pedagogy” program, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Khasanova I.U. and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Kazetova A.Kh.

The session was moderated by Senior Lecturer, Master Abugalieva G.S.

During the session, presentations were delivered on psychological and pedagogical support for preschool and primary school children, innovative teaching methods, professional training of future teachers, the development of students’ critical, research, and creative thinking, as well as the use of digital and interactive educational technologies.

Participants demonstrated high engagement, discussed modern approaches to the use of artificial intelligence in education, and emphasized the scientific and practical significance of the presented research and the relevance of the topics addressed. The importance of further expanding interuniversity cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation was also highlighted.

Based on the results of the session, recommendations were developed for the implementation of modern teaching methodologies, the development of students’ research competencies, and the strengthening of international academic partnerships.
