Youth and Law: Rights and Responsibilities

On February 23, T.T. Maksotova, a lecturer of the Educational Program “Pedagogy of Preschool and Primary Education,” conducted a training session on the topic “Youth and Law: Rights and Responsibilities” for first-year students of group НО(ІР)-13.

The purpose of the training was to improve students’ legal literacy, clarify their rights and responsibilities, and develop an understanding of accountability before the law.

During the event, based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses, students were informed about fundamental rights and types of legal responsibility.

The training was conducted in an interactive format. The students:

  • participated in the game “Right or Responsibility?”;
  • analyzed situational tasks;
  • played the movement-based game “Yes or No”;
  • tested their legal knowledge in the “Myth or Fact” section.

During the session, students demonstrated active participation and freely expressed their opinions. The discussion addressed the consequences of offenses, youth responsibility, and the development of a culture of respect for the law.

As a result, the students’ level of legal literacy increased, and they showed a clear understanding of the importance of complying with the law and fulfilling civic responsibilities. The training achieved its objectives.
