On May 5, as part of preventive work with first-year students of groups P-12, P(IP)-11-1, and SPPA-11-1 of the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology,” a screening of videos focused on anti-bullying and anti-drug prevention was organized: “Hooligan-ka” (a docudrama based on real stories about adolescent cruelty and bullying) and “Three Doses.”
The purpose of the curatorial hour was to develop students’ conscious attitude toward the issues of bullying and drug use, to foster critical thinking, empathy, and responsibility for their own behavior and behavior in society, as well as to prevent risky forms of behavior among young people.
After watching the videos, a discussion was organized during which students shared their impressions, analyzed the behavior of the characters, and examined the causes and consequences of the situations presented.
During the viewing and discussion, students recognized the seriousness of the problem of bullying and its psychological consequences for both victims and aggressors, noted the importance of timely intervention by teachers and peers, developed a more negative attitude toward drug use by understanding its destructive impact on health, mental well-being, and social life, concluded the importance of personal responsibility and the ability to resist peer pressure, and emphasized the need to develop skills of support, tolerance, and respect for others.
Thus, the event contributed to increasing students’ awareness of relevant social issues, forming values aimed at maintaining a healthy and safe lifestyle, and developing professionally significant qualities of future teachers and psychologists.
