On November 22, 2023, the world-famous Bookcrossing event was held with students of the 3rd year of the educational program "Pedagogy and Psychology" of the M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan University. Bookcrossing is a hobby based on the principle of "reading by yourself — pass it on to others", it is one of the social movements that bring people and books closer together and encourage reading.
During the event, students, according to the rules of "Bookcrossing", retold the contents of the book they had read to each other among the group. The life stories of the authors of the books they read were also analyzed.
