On December 1, 2023, for students of the pedagogical faculty, educational programs "Pedagogy and Psychology", "Social Pedagogy" and "Assistant teacher", teachers and undergraduates of this educational program held the Olympiad "Self-knowledge – opening the way to the knowledge of others". 4 teams participated in the Olympiad. The Abyroy team from the PiP-11 group, the Psychomyshki team from the PiP-22 group, the Power of Three team from the SP-21 group and the Insight team from the PiP-32 group.
At the opening of the Olympiad, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Education Yergalieva Gulzhan Algazievna stressed the importance of participating in scientifically significant events and wished success to the participants; the head of the educational program "Pedagogy and Psychology", senior lecturer Abdiraimova Elmira Kairlievna made a speech and wished good luck to the students.
The following were appointed to the judging panel: PhD, Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty Yergalieva Gulzhan Algazievna, PhD, senior lecturer Mukhanbetchina Akhlima Gabdilovna and head of the OP "Pedagogy and Psychology", senior lecturer Abdiraimova Elmira Kairlievna.
The Olympiad was held in three stages, at the first stage the "Parade of Teams" was a business card, the teams presented their universities, their teams, education, how and with what interest they chose this educational program, and also named the team's motto, offered the image of a "Teacher – psychologist". At the second stage, students solved psychological situations, defended projects on topical topics in the form of a presentation. At the third stage, "Solving pedagogical situations", students were presented with situations in envelopes, and students expressed their suggestions.
The teams took an active part in defending their projects and received appropriate ratings. According to the results of the three stages, three teams, namely: "Insight", "Abyroy" and "The Power of Three" scored the same number of points and passed on. At the final stage, the students were offered a task: to protect the image of a psychologist on a poster. As a result, the Abyroy team was awarded in the "Best Project" nomination, and the Insight team was awarded in the "Most creative Presentation" nomination. In the process of determining the best teams of the SP-21, the Power of Three took 3rd place. The 2nd place was taken by the team "Abyroy" from PiP-11, the 1st place was taken by the team "Psychomyshki" from PiP-22. The head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, senior lecturer Abdiraimova Elmira Kairlievna congratulated the teams after the Olympics.
