On April 8 at 10:00 AM, within the framework of the Methodological Month at the Faculty of Pedagogy, an open dialogue titled “Psychological Support of the Educational Process” was held under the “Pedagogy and Psychology” educational program.
The event was organized by senior lecturer and Master of Pedagogy and Psychology, Zhanar Sansyzbaiqyzy Ismagulova. Graduates of the program — psychologist Gulsharbat Amanzhol from Gymnasium No. 42 “Aq Niet” and psychologist Gulaiym Kuanysh from the private school “Sana School” — took part in the event, along with university faculty and students of groups Pip-21 and Pip-22.
The goal of the event was to raise important issues related to ensuring the psychological well-being of all participants in the educational process (teachers, social educators, parents, students), to exchange experiences, and to discuss effective mechanisms of support.
The format included open dialogue, Q&A sessions, and case analysis.
The following topics were addressed during the event:
- The role and importance of psychological services in the education system;
- Assessing and supporting students’ psycho-emotional state;
- Prevention of bullying in schools;
- Establishing trusting relationships between teachers and students, and between teachers and parents.
Participants shared their experiences and exchanged views on effective methods and tools of psychological support.
At the end of the event, participants noted that the dialogue was highly relevant and meaningful. Meetings in such a format help to enhance psychologists’ professional competence and contribute to creating a comfortable psychological environment in the educational space.
Open dialogue serves as an effective platform for psychologists and students to exchange experiences and jointly explore ways to create a student-centered environment. Such initiatives will continue in the future.
