Organization of Social Education in the Context of Inclusive Education

On October 14, as part of the methodological month “Innovative Pedagogy and Value-Oriented Education: Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), CLIL, Inclusive Education, Values of Sustainable Development, Soft Skills and Research Competencies as New Opportunities for Developing the Professional Competence of the Future Teacher”, an open class was held with 3rd-year students in an interactive format that included elements of a lecture-discussion, role-playing, case analysis, brainstorming, and group work. During the session, conditions were created to ensure students’ active involvement in discussing the issues of inclusive education.

Special attention was given to the practical aspects of organizing social education for students with special educational needs. In the role-playing activity, students modeled interactions between teachers, parents, and pupils in an inclusive environment. The case analysis enabled participants to examine real pedagogical situations and propose possible solutions.

ICT technologies (interactive platforms for collecting ideas and feedback) were used for brainstorming and reflection, which increased students’ engagement and contributed to the development of their digital competencies.

Students demonstrated a high level of activity, interest, and conscious understanding of the importance of social education in the context of inclusion. They noted that the use of interactive teaching methods helped them better absorb the material and develop teamwork, critical thinking, and empathy skills.

The conducted session contributed to the formation of students’ professional-pedagogical competence based on the values of humanism, inclusiveness, and social responsibility. The use of innovative and interactive methods proved their effectiveness in preparing future teachers to work in a modern educational environment.
