Seminar-training “Artificial Intelligence through the Eyes of Future Pedagogue-Psychologists”

On October 14, 2025, within the framework of the “Pedagogy and Psychology” educational program, a seminar-training titled “Artificial Intelligence through the Eyes of Future Pedagogue-Psychologists” was held. During the event, under the supervision of senior lecturer, Master N. E. Mukanova, 3rd-year students of the 6B01101 – “Pedagogy and Psychology” educational program presented the theoretical foundations of the “Smart Psychologist” project and demonstrated its practical applications.

The head of the “Pedagogy and Psychology” educational program, E. K. Abdiraiymova; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer A. G. Mukhanbetchina; and senior lecturers N. U. Kuldasheva and Zh. S. Ismagulova emphasized that the “Smart Psychologist” project is an innovative initiative aimed at integrating modern digital technologies into the psychological service system. They highlighted the importance of using artificial intelligence to optimize the psychologist’s daily activities, quickly analyze an individual’s psycho-emotional state, and personalize the counseling process.

The project aims to automate several aspects of a psychologist’s work, such as diagnostics, processing psychological questionnaires, providing online counseling, and developing individual growth plans. Within the framework of the project, students analyzed the main functions of a psychologist’s professional activity, explored the ethics of psychological counseling using artificial intelligence, data confidentiality, and the advantages of algorithmic methods.

In addition, in the practical part of the “Smart Psychologist” project, they demonstrated a module for assessing psychological conditions and generating recommendations.
