On October 3, 2024, according to the curriculum of the Department of Physical Education, the freshman festival titled “Golden Autumn” took place, with more than 100 students participating. Before the competitions, a general warm-up was conducted, after which the events began in sports such as football, table tennis, checkers, chess, and togyzkumalak. The judging was provided by the entire staff of the Department of Physical Education of Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University.
Our university’s students got acquainted with the professional coaches of the university’s sports sections, many of whom are masters in their field. Many freshmen were interested in these sports and eagerly signed up for the sections. This festival became one of the most vibrant and memorable events. It helps to reveal new talents each year, provides new opportunities, and emphasizes the value of the moments we create together. The Freshman Festival is a special event that unites and inspires students toward sports achievements and active participation in university life.
