On November 16-17 and 23-24, 2024, the city of Oral hosted an open city Spartakiad among university and college students. The event aimed to enhance students’ athletic skills, improve their health, and promote national sports.
The Spartakiad featured competitions in toguzkumalak, volleyball, mini-football, basketball, asyk atu, and table tennis.
Toguzkumalak
Students from the faculties of Philology, Geography, and Pedagogy represented the university in the toguzkumalak competition. Among them, Zhasulan Sakenov, Nurlan Kuanyshbekov, Aidana Orazbekova, and Madina Tursynova showcased outstanding performance. The team secured first place, demonstrating exceptional results.

Volleyball
The volleyball competition was particularly intense. The university team displayed a high level of skill and earned an honorable second place. Team player Fariza Ongarbayevna Sakenova was recognized as the best player of the tournament for her exceptional performance.

Table Tennis
The university team achieved a respectable third place in table tennis. Key contributors to the result were Nuraly Beibituly Ertaliyev (3rd-year student of the Faculty of Economics and Law, group UR-31) and Raimbek Seitbayev, who demonstrated a high level of mastery.
