Theoretical Foundations and Practical Training Approaches

     On November 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Pedagogy of West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov, an informative meeting was held with 4th-year students of the educational program 6B01402 – “Physical Education and Sport.” The meeting was conducted by Tilekkabyl Sapiyev, a physical education teacher of Zhumeken Moldagaliyev Secondary School No. 2, a pedagogical expert, and ambassador of the “National Scientific and Practical Center for Physical Education” of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize future physical education teachers with the updated content of school physical education, provide professional guidance, and offer methodological support regarding the requirements of the OZP (Subject Knowledge Assessment) test.

During the event, Mr. Sapiyev provided a comprehensive explanation of the structure of the updated curriculum, learning objectives, assessment criteria, lesson models, and the professional competencies required of modern school teachers. In addition, OZP test items for students were analyzed, highlighting common task types, methods for identifying correct answers, and effective preparation strategies.

To assess the students’ readiness for the test, a trial examination was proposed, and preliminary registration for participation was opened. Mr. Sapiyev also shared test links and supplementary study materials with students through Telegram channels.

The meeting enhanced students’ professional motivation and contributed to a deeper understanding of current requirements for school physical education. Future specialists had the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s practical recommendations and to systematize their test preparation process.
