In the new academic year, a Montessori classroom for students has been opened at our educational institution

The Montessori method is an educational approach developed by the Italian doctor and educator Maria Montessori. It focuses on fostering children’s independence, freedom of choice, and self-development. A specially prepared environment is created where the child can work according to their own interests.

The key feature of this classroom is that it enables students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and develop professional competencies as future specialists.

The classroom is fully equipped with modern facilities and all the necessary materials. Among them are Montessori tools designed to develop children’s sensory, logical, and cognitive abilities; resources for sand therapy, which support psychological well-being and encourage creative thinking; as well as wooden Montessori games aimed at improving fine motor skills, memory, and thinking.

This classroom provides students with the opportunity to study the Montessori methodology in greater depth, learn effective ways of working with children, and gain practical experience in inclusive education.
