On October 16, 2025, the Faculty of Pedagogy at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University hosted a meeting with employers and alumni.
The purpose of the event was to strengthen cooperation between the university and employer organizations and to discuss key issues aimed at improving the quality of teacher training.
The meeting was attended by representatives of city and regional educational institutions, alumni from various years, faculty members, and senior students.
The main objective was to enhance the professional preparation of future teachers in accordance with the demands of the modern labor market, exchange experiences, and develop recommendations for improving educational programs.
Employers emphasized the high level of theoretical and practical training of the faculty’s graduates and highlighted the importance of developing modern pedagogical competencies, including flexible skills (soft skills), digital literacy, and methodologies of inclusive and CLIL-based teaching.
Alumni shared their professional experiences, spoke about the first steps in their careers, challenges, and achievements, and expressed gratitude to the university and faculty members for their quality education and support.
The meeting also focused on the development of the mentoring institute and the importance of practice-oriented education.
Employers expressed their readiness to collaborate in organizing student internships, conducting joint projects, and holding master classes.
The event concluded with an engaging discussion on strengthening partnership relations between the university and regional educational institutions.
The meeting demonstrated that the Faculty of Pedagogy serves not only as a center for training qualified specialists but also as an important platform for strengthening professional connections, exchanging ideas, and fostering collaboration between employers and alumni.
