Opening of the Methodological Month “Innovative Pedagogy and Value-Based Education”

On October 13, 2025, the Faculty of Pedagogy at M. Utemisov West Kazakhstan University hosted the opening ceremony of the methodological month entitled
“Innovative Pedagogy and Value-Based Education: Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI), CLIL, Inclusive Education, Sustainable Development Values, Soft Skills, and Research Competencies as New Opportunities for Developing the Professional Competence of Future Teachers.”

The purpose of the event was to foster the professional and moral image of future educators through the discussion of new paradigms in teacher education, innovative methods, and creative practices.

During the opening, creative interactive sessions, trainings, and discussions were held, organized jointly by faculty members and students.
The central question —
“Can the education of the future become an environment that understands each student’s heart, guided by both technology and empathy?”
— inspired participants to deep reflection.

The event addressed topics such as the integration of artificial intelligence and CLIL technologies into the educational process, the effectiveness of digital tools in inclusive education, and approaches to developing soft skills among future teachers.

Throughout the methodological month, a series of seminars, workshops, research presentations, and creative meetings will take place.
