On November 13 at 15:20 in Room 505, the event “Multilingualism — The Path to Personal Success” took place. The organizers were curators S.F. Bayukanskaya and L.A. Fedorchenko. The participants included the student groups NO(IR)-22, PiMNO-32(3), and PiMNO-42.Students of the NO(IR)-22 group prepared a video titled “Multilingualism in Modern Society,” filmed in the format of street interviews. They then presented a short performance demonstrating how knowledge of several languages facilitates everyday communication. A particularly memorable moment was a musical performance: one of the students sang the French song “La Seine.” The group concluded their presentation with short congratulatory phrases and warm wishes spoken in different languages.
The PiMNO-32(3) group organized and conducted a themed quiz that allowed participants to showcase their erudition and test their knowledge of multilingualism.Students of the PiMNO-42 group presented “Multilingualism — The Key to Success,” followed by a multilingual relay in which teams competed in speed and accuracy of using different languages. They ended their performance by reciting poems in various languages.
The event became a vivid demonstration that multilingualism broadens horizons, unites students, and motivates them toward further language development. It helped create a friendly atmosphere, strengthen teamwork, and foster a respectful attitude toward cultural and linguistic diversity. The event concluded with a group photo, marking the bright ending of an engaging and informative gathering.
