The Department is equipped with a modern material and technical base. The Department has 7 subject and 4 training laboratories.
- HUMAN RESOURCES CAPACITY OF THE OFFICE
Currently, in the 2020-2021 academic year, the main full-time teaching staff of the Department is 13 people. Among them - 1 doctor of science, 3 candidates of science, associate professors and 4 senior teachers-masters, 5 teachers-masters. Accordingly, the scientific potential is 46.6%. In addition, there are two additional full - time teachers: candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor Obidenkina L. A. 1 - candidate of pedagogical Sciences, associate Professor- A. S. irgaliev.
Teachers of the Department actively participate in public life. Teachers regularly participate as experts and psychologists.in University and regional seminars, round tables, conferences and events organized by social institutions.
III. ACADEMIC WORK AT THE DEPARTMENT
3.1. Organization and management of the educational process
Currently, the following educational programs are being implemented: 5B010300 "Pedagogy and psychology", 5B012300 "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge" and 6B01101 "Pedagogy and psychology", 6B01801 "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge". These specialties were approved by the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 31, 2018.
Developed in accordance with the state standard of compulsory education approved by order No. 604 and provided with standard curricula. The educational process at full-time and part-time departments in these specialties is organized in accordance with standard curricula, semester working curricula in accordance with each course.
Undergraduate students learn about 30 credits per semester, depending on their workload. The training schedule is created by the dispatching Department in accordance with the workload of suppliers, and they control it. Students ' attendance and progress during the year are closely monitored by group leaders, Department heads, and the Dean's office and recorded in a special log of attendance and progress.
The group leaders conduct training and educational activities in accordance with the plan of educational work. In addition to events dedicated to the holidays, these events will feature a wide range of events related to our state symbols, social issues and the President's message.
Assessment of students ' knowledge is carried out in accordance with the Standard rules of the current control, progress and intermediate, final certification of University students (March 16, 2011).
The accuracy of knowledge assessment is characterized by current, boundary, and final control. The level of formation of students ' professional competencies is determined by key competencies based on professional standards.
Active innovative teaching methods are introduced and used in the educational process. These are: lecture-talk, lecture-visualization, lecture-discussion, game technology, collective, group technology, active simulation training methods, creative learning, innovative educational project activities, brainstorming ("brainstorming"), situational modeling, case study. -stage ("business game"), team game, Colloquium, technologies and strategies for critical thinking, etc. The effectiveness of innovative methods is reflected in the learning outcomes and is reflected in the students ' interest in the subject, the lesson that provides productive work.
3.2 quality control of the educational process
Teachers of the Department, in accordance with the schedule of joint classes, attend at least two classes a year, analyze them, submit their proposals to the teacher, and also register them in the journal. Special attention was paid to such issues as advanced methods used by teachers when presenting new material, effective use of information technology tools, achievement of lesson goals, non-traditional organization, and student activity. Due to the fact that the Department has no work experience and there is no teacher who does not have a master's degree, the quality of the personnel of the Department in the methodological direction is high.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, the final certification was completed by full-time and part-time students in the specialties 5B010300 "Pedagogy and psychology" and 5B12300 "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge".
It is revealed that graduates of this specialty have a high level of knowledge in pedagogical and psychological disciplines. It is characterized by the manifestation of personal qualities, including pedagogical-psychological and socio-psychological Sciences, with deep scientific theoretical and methodological knowledge in the defense of the examination and thesis. Graduates showed that they have acquired the necessary knowledge, business acumen, skills for future work as a teacher-psychologist, formed as a versatile, professional person who is aware of their profession and is inclined to independent research.
Graduates of the faculties of General pedagogy and psychology (concepts, values, theories), theory of education (educational system, methods, principles), didactics (new learning technologies, learning content), history of pedagogy and psychology (works of scientists, views of Kazakhstani thinkers), They have a high level of training in the field of age psychology, correctional pedagogy and defectology, diagnostics and development, have established themselves as a person with a developed culture, self-improvement, knowledge and skills focused on pedagogy and psychology.
4.5. Methodological work:
17.02.-21.02.2020 a methodological mosaic "teaching methods at the University: current trends"was organized. After the opening of the methodological week "Psychological and pedagogical moment", a seminar-press conference"Mentoring: a fashion trend or a conscious need?"was organized. Coaching "New trends in the use of modern methods and technologies" was conducted by the branch of JSC "national educational center" Orleu ", Institute of continuing education of WKO, the speaker was a senior lecturer of the Department "Psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process "K. Baykatova.
As part of the week, a competition for young teachers "Peak of skill" was held. The main goal of the competition is to increase the prestige of teaching among young people, identify, support and encourage talented young University teachers, promote and disseminate innovative technologies for training and education, identify the creative potential of young teachers, and stimulate the professional development of young teachers. .
In order to develop the professional skills of teachers, exchange experience, and improve the quality of education through the use of innovative technologies in the educational process of the University, a competition of innovative projects was organized. The main tasks are
to prepare basic educational presentations focused on competence-based professional practice, provide methodological assistance to young teachers, and use innovative technologies in the learning process.
